One of the main questions we get from customers is “where do we go to have our caliper covers installed?”
TOP PLACES TO INSTALL CALIPER COVERS
Small Tire shops or auto body shops are the best locations to get your caliper covers installed. We’ve compiled a list of shops who are familiar with our product and have installed MGP brake covers before. We recommend calling ahead to see how much they would charge to get MGP Caliper Covers installed.

WHAT ABOUT A CAR DEALERSHIP?
We are licensed with Ford, GM, Mopar, Honda and Acura so if your vehicle falls under these categories then you can always head over to your local dealership and once again, have them give us a call or hop on our website if they have any questions.
WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR WHEN PAYING TO INSTALL YOUR CALIPER COVERS
1. Some mechanics, whether they work at one of the above places or are just a local mechanic will charge you for the install, then proceed to install them and then tell you that caliper covers are not safe, and then they will charge you to take them back off.
(DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU)
TRUTH: Caliper Covers are officially licensed with Ford, GM, Mopar, Honda and Acura and have been through their rigorous testing to ensure safety at the highest standards. If the clips are rubbing on the rotor a bit, you can use a flathead screwdriver to bend them up and off the rotor in most cases. If there are any concerns, have the mechanic hop on our website with you or give us a call at 877-995-0003 and we will walk them through it.
2. Some Mechanics along the same lines will say that caliper covers will overheat your brakes and reduce the life of them.
TRUTH: They are made of aluminum, so rather than trapping heat in, they dissipate brake heat and reduce the overall heat by 15-30 degrees.
3. Anywhere that tries to charge you more than $200 to have them installed is overcharging and should be avoided unless it is the only option you have.
TRUTH: The charge for installing caliper covers should be no more than $100-$200 tops because it is a simple installation and the only real labor is taking the wheels off. Installing the caliper covers themselves will only take around 15 minutes total and taking the wheels off and on takes about 45 minutes. Our tech gets the job done in around 30 to 45 minutes.
If you have any questions at all regarding installation please feel free to hop on our website and check out the installation page or give us a call
at 877-995-0003 and we will take care of you.
